Alessia Di Raimondo is a Ph.D., a certified meeting specialist and Destination Marketing and MICE Content Creation expert.
Alessia sits in the Italian Board of MPI (Meeting Professionals International) since 2018 as Vice President with delegation to Communication.
She is the Co-Founder and Marketing & Communication Manager at BeAcademy (with a master program on Tourism, Hospitality & Event Management and an executive education program on Professional Influencer Marketing).
She has been working in the Meeting Industry since 2014 as Marketing Manager at Sicily Convention Bureau. She has gained important experience in the Tourism Industry since 2009 as project manager in Destination Management & Marketing Projects for the public sector, local institutions, and tourism authorities. She is a lecturer in the MICE field at the Master program of the BeAcademy in Catania (Italy) and she was an assistant professor of Business Economics & Management and Destination Management & Marketing at the University of Catania during her Ph.D.
With a 4-year background as Managing Editor with several collaborations with Italian magazines and online journals, Digital PRs, Content Creation, Visual Storytelling are nowadays at the basis of her daily activity, not only in the MICE industry. She likes to refer to herself as a professional who loves stories and destinations, and stories that turn places into destinations.
